The first enduro cup event for 2021 kicked off at Buffelsdrift Trail Park in Gauteng.

Congratulations to Luke Dinkel & Keira Duncan who both places in the top 10 overall and Keira who took the overall position at the opening event.

Sweet victory at the opening round of the National Enduro Series / GP Enduro #1 last weekend. Really stoked.
Had some good fun riding new trails @buffelsdrifttrailpark, loved the rocks!
Happy to say I had a smooth day racing with almost no mistakes. Got the fastest times on four of six stages and took the overall win just ahead of @w_i_l_l_i_e . Lekker sharing the podium with Willie, Wade and Frank. It’s been a while boys!

The course had plenty drifty turns, jagged rocks and no shortage of pedaling, but all in all a peeper fun day out riding with everyone. Was good to see all the GP mates again.

I saw a lot of @pygabikes out there too, it’s always impressive seeing the turnout and especially the number of PYGA riders who finished up in the top ranks. Truly fun and fast bikes! My Slakline with 27.5” wheels felt right at home on the rocks and certainly handled all the sprinting like a machine. For a big enduro bike its pedal efficiency and traction under full power is immaculate. Can’t wait to feel how the new PYGA e-bike goes 🚲 💨

Next race on my calendar is SA Enduro #2 in Karkloof. It’s a triple header being part of the annual @karkloofcountryclub enduro + KZN Champs. Hope to see you all there! 11/12 June, don’t miss it! Going to be a blast.

A big thanks goes out to all my sponsors for the continuous support 💪

Shoutout to @bike_guru_workshop for helping me sort out last minute bike repairs before racing on Sunday, couldn’t have done it without you.
The Bike Guru Howick is my local bike shop and @luke_dinkel always does an excellent job on my bike👌
