Round 1 of the 2022 KZN & Gauteng Gravity Series – Giba Gorge

Slick and wet conditions for Sunday’s Downhill event with the heavens opening mid run 1 and riders were forced to bring their A-game when it came to staying rubber-side down.

With a late track change due to safety concerns, the newly revamped Race-Tech was put in the back pocket for next years race and the DH track Eye Fuzzler put into play.

Muddy and off camber, the track was tackled by both the KwaZulu Natal and the Gauteng riders for lucrative season opening points.
