Saturday – Enduro

Wet and muddy conditions greeted riders on the 5th February for the Enduro Round. Giba Gorge MTB Park is known for its steep liaisons on the southern side of the park but 2022 was kind to riders with only 2 climbs up the infamous “Blue Side” to Stages 1-2, while Stages 3-5 tested the riders technical ability in the wet with Rhinos Ravine claiming precious seconds with its tricky and rutted turns. Stage 5 Old Enduro was a pedal-fest with the love to hate rock nestled between two trees catching the riders with its slippery surface.

Riders lined up and ready to go.
